   Ghost in the Shell-Stand Alone Complex ist eine 26-teilige Sci-Fi Anime Serie aus dem Jahr 2002 die auf Masamune Shirows Ghost in the Shell-Universum basiert. Im Jahr 2004 wurde die Serie um eine zweite Staffel mit dem Titel Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG erweitert, 2006 folgte dann in Anlehnung an die Serie ein Fernsehfilm mit dem Namen Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society.
