Do You remember Your last day with us when You curtly saved my life,
back then in the steel mill when we tried very hard to survive?

When She cried for me, my mother would have never purposed my harm.
This day I noticed that the T-1000 pretended to be my Mom.
She herself appeared and shot the clone right in his back,
the gun ran out of ammo, close before it could break his neck.
So after She had fed the „T“ with daily bullet ration,
just You came up, made him split and groaned for a vacation.

The bad guy melted as all kinds of shapes he simulated.
I asked You if hes dead, You rather called it „terminated“.
It was ensured that metal hands can melt in hot steel, too.
You ordered me to throw it in, so that I meant to do.
As well the chip of T-model 1 was not planned to remain.
The liquefied steel swallowed it to prevent the future bane.

We thought it was done up to Your hint that You may join the glow.
There was one more chip at Your fingertip which had to be destroyed also.
I couldn’t believe Your intention to leave and ordered You not to go.
You couldn’t cry but I cried a lot for the reason You got to know.
My Mom and I dismissed and prepared You for upcoming self-termination,
You grabbed the chain, said goodbye due to our last collaboration.

And here comes the part I’ll never forget, Your way down into heat.
You stared at us, Your legs caught fire, Your body couldn’t bleed.
In Your slowly burning face I saw no sorrows in Your eyes,
the last thing I remember is Your thumb up, that was nice.
In this regard my Mom was right when She once referred to You,
’cause if even kill-mashines got humor, maybe humans can do, too.

Farewell letter from John Connor to T-800
